Update on life:
Sorry lovelies, clearly I have disappeared for awhile. A lot has been going on in my life as of recent which translates to my little slice of the world wide web pie being put on the back burner. There was a visit to Chicago, a family health scare around Turkey Day, followed by a visit from my 3 year old sister (that was a comfy clothes kinda week-new respect for moms!), a loved one passing, and a root canal.
There. You are all caught up on why I have gone all Houdini on you all. However, I will hopefully be getting back into the swing of things soon. Love you all, thanks for sticking around with me!
cape/head scarf: thrifted, jeans: levis, boots: dsw
Say hello to the other cape that I thrifted a couple months ago. I love the sunshiney color and groovy vibe it gives off. My only complaint is it looks like I am a t-rex…those tiny arms sticking out! What can you do, right?
I am currently in Chicago for a day or two with some of my family. I don’t think I am going to sneak any thrifting or vintage shopping in, but shopping in general= a crap ton (yes a crap ton- a well known form of measurement).
Off to shop-have a great day!!
Custom Bridal Gown Illustration
This is one of my recent gown illustrations. I decided to open up an online store where people can purchase these one of a kind custom gown illustrations. I named the shop Lucky Buckeye Designs check it out! I have been doing these for a long time and just now decided to offer them online. Read more about them over at the shop!
Cape: Vintage, thrifted, Jeans: AE, Shoes: DSW
It was a comfy, run errands, and work on shop stuff kinda day. With the cold weather moving in I figured it was time to break out one of my (many) capes. I thrifted this several weeks ago and I think it was a nice find! I think I could style it a little more retro bohemian next time, whaddya think?
For right now it was a nice snuggly type of outfit.
